What exactly is Blue Man Group about?

Blue Man Group cannot be explained; it can only be experienced.  A good start might be these videos here or better yet, buy a ticket here.

Is the show in English?

The Blue Men themselves do not have a spoken language.Most non-English speaking and/or hearing-impaired patrons find the show tremendously enjoyable.

Is the show the same in all locations?

Although several of our productions are similar, the size and space opportunities of each theatre create unique performances.

What is the appropriate age to bring my child to the theatre?

The Blue Man Group show is designed to be a multi-generational entertainment experience. Individuals of all ages enjoy the show and people often bring their entire families to a performance. However, we recommend the show to children ages 3 and older due to the percussive music, movement of the performers/props in the auditorium and as a courtesy to other patrons. It is up to the Box Office or Front of House Manager to admit children under the age of 3 into the theatre. Children under age 3 are admitted at no charge; however they will be required to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian.

What is the running time of the show?

The show runs approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes with no intermission.

What time should I arrive at the theatre?

Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior.

What happens if we are running late?

Late patrons are seated at the discretion of House Management at a time when seating will not interrupt the show.

Is there a dress code?

There is no specific dress code.

What is the poncho section?

The poncho section is the first four or five rows closest to the stage. Patrons in this area are given ponchos to wear, because sometimes materials splash the audience. These substances are washable, but we suggest that you do not wear anything that needs dry cleaning.

How can I purchase Blue Man Group souvenirs and merchandise?

Blue Man Group souvenirs and a variety of merchandise will be available in the theatre lobby or at the Blue Man Group store in front of the theatre. Other show merchandise is available for purchase online here.

Are food and beverages available at the theatre?

Full bar and concession facilities are located in the theatre lobby. Beverages may be enjoyed inside the Blue Man Theatre.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?

ADA seating is available in each price seating tier at all performances, but you must call the Venetian box office at 702.141.9001 to reserve your seats.

Are there restaurants and bars near the theatre?

The Venetian hosts many restaurants, conveniently located near the Blue Man Theatre. Dinner and Show packages are available through The Venetian box office or by calling 800.BLUEMAN.

I am sensitive to strobe lights. Should I be concerned?

Strobe lights are used during two portions of the show.  If people sensitive to strobe lights decide to attend the show, they should alert the House Manager when they arrive.  Upon request, a member of the house staff will help the patron leave the theatre before the strobes occur.
